[Hotel Review] Aloha Hotel @ Hatyai City Centre

Too much of worried and stress I had for recently, I knew that I have to take a break from this stressful environment, I need some "fresh air" and food to recharge my brain and body. Therefore, I have decided to escape to Hatyai with Mr.K on last weekend, we make this decision on the day before we depart.
Is quite interesting for this short trip because we haven't done any preparation and we are going to depart on the next morning. During the day before we go to Hatyai, I have struggled for 2 hours on which hotel I should book for this time.
Based on my previous Hatyai trip's experience, the preferable hotel area for me was around Lee Garden because I can easily get food, snack and massage at this area. After struggled for 2 hours, we decided to spend our nights at ALOHA Hotel.

This light blue building was Aloha Hotel and it had a signboard outside the hotel so it can be easily spot by tourists. Mr.K is terrible with direction but he can surely point me where is this hotel.

Don't judge the hotel by its exterior so let's move into the hotel and see how is it.

Once you enter to the hotel, the lobby is on your right-hand side.
(I think the lobby will overload when there is a tour group waiting for check in)

On the other hand was the reception, only 5 minutes wait to done my check in. The receptionist had distributed us a room card.
*Opps! Forgot to mention, they will keep our passport and return it to us on the day we check out.

I left my request during the booking which I prefer to stay at higher floor and they really fulfill my request, I stayed at 11th floor (The whole building contained 12 floors).

There is a poster about the guestroom, service and restaurant of this hotel in the lift if you are interested you can go with it.

Scan your room card before you can get into your room. I like room card more than key because can keep it into my wallet and it is safer.

Ta-da~

We booked a superior double bedroom in this Hotel

After opened up the door, you will see a queen size double bed and a dressing table on the left.

And on the right, we have a cupboard, two cabinets, a TV and our private bathroom.

They have ready 2 hangers for their guest to hang their clothes and towel. Besides that, if you wish to get laundry service, you can place your dirty clothes into the ready plastic bag and send to laundry.

You need to extra pay for the 3 in 1 drinks if you wish to take them, but you can enjoy the 2 mineral water on this cabinet for free.

Check out the mini-fridge.

Only two bottles of the beverage inside the fridge and it cost 20THB for each of them.

A mini cabinet in front of the TV, I can keep my travel bag at the bottom part to keep the room from messy and place belongings on top of it.
When is needed, we will pull this mini cabinet toward our bed and turn into a dining table. We can enjoy our meal while watching the TV.

Move over to the dressing table area.
The mirror is big enough for me and it is next to the window. I will prefer sunlight to done my makeup.

A list of rules and menu for their lovely guest.

Bathroom time!!!
A big basin and a hair dryer in front of the mirror.

Hair shampoo, shower gel, cotton bud and shower cap are ready for their guest.

They have the built-in type shower and you can control the temperature, volume of water by using only one shower valves.

Elongated toilet bowl

They are so sweet, they even prepared the sanitary bag for us. Girls will appreciate for it.

The last thing to show you all was the view from my room. I can see the Lee garden sky buffet, Centara Hotel and Odean from my room.

Location
(★ ★ ★ ★ ★)
The location was good! I can reach Odean within 3 minutes and reach Lee Garden in 5 minutes by walking. If you don't want to go to Odean you can go to Robinson Supermarket because it is just opposite this hotel. The only thing I feel sad was it did not have any 7-11 near to it but is ok.

Environment
(★ ★ ★ ★ ☆)
Nothing much to complain but the noise from the corridor is easy to be heard hope that the housekeeping starts their work after 9 am. The room was very clean and they do have the housekeeping service even you do not request for it, you can enjoy a "new" room after you back to the hotel from outside.

Room Features
(★ ★ ★ ★ ★)
Have no problem with the water pressure even at 11th floor and hot water was consistent. Besides that, the WIFI signal of this hotel was good, I don't have any disconnected experience with their WIFI and the speed is pretty fast (thumbs up for this).
Next, we have no panic with the air-con, we can control the room temperature as we like.
The bed was comfortable, which is not too hard or soft for us. After I finish bath, I can straight jump into the bed and enjoy the TV shows ( Is limited choices on Chinese show but I can watch youtube).
Another important thing I like to mention was this hotel do provide HAIR DRYER!!! Well, hair dryer is very very important to a girl with long hair (I don't want to wait up to 3 hours for my hair to dry during a trip).
Facilities
(★ ★ ★ ★ ☆)
If you decided to shop a lot then you better pick a hotel with elevator. Aloha has 2 elevators so no worry on carry luggage or your booty. Next, I hope that they will have a swimming pool on the rooftop of the hotel.

Service
(★ ★ ★ ★ ☆)
Basically, we have no communicate the problem with the receptionist, they able to speak in English and they are so nice and friendly.
They do have Massage service but we didn't try it because we need to pay for extra 300THB for the massage. I would rather go outside for the massage and it is much cheaper.
Price
(★ ★ ★ ★ ★)
The another reason for me to pick this hotel for stay was because the room price is reasonable. The room cost us RM110 per night(no breakfast include)!

Thanks for being here with me. I hope all of you have a happy weekday.
