[Hotel Review] Aloha Hotel @ Hatyai City Centre

Too much of worried and stress I had for recently, I knew that I have to take a break from this stressful environment, I need some "fresh air" and food to recharge my brain and body. Therefore, I have decided to escape to Hatyai with Mr.K on last weekend, we make this decision on the day before we depart.
Is quite interesting for this short trip because we haven't done any preparation and we are going to depart on the next morning. During the day before we go to Hatyai, I have struggled for 2 hours on which hotel I should book for this time.
Based on my previous Hatyai trip's experience, the preferable hotel area for me was around Lee Garden because I can easily get food, snack and massage at this area. After struggled for 2 hours, we decided to spend our nights at ALOHA Hotel.

This light blue building was Aloha Hotel and it had a signboard outside the hotel so it can be easily spot by tourists. Mr.K is terrible with direction but he can surely point me where is this hotel.

Don't judge the hotel by its exterior so let's move into the hotel and see how is it.

Once you enter to the hotel, the lobby is on your right-hand side.
(I think the lobby will overload when there is a tour group waiting for check in)

On the other hand was the reception, only 5 minutes wait to done my check in. The receptionist had distributed us a room card.
*Opps! Forgot to mention, they will keep our passport and return it to us on the day we check out.

I left my request during the booking which I prefer to stay at higher floor and they really fulfill my request, I stayed at 11th floor (The whole building contained 12 floors).

There is a poster about the guestroom, service and restaurant of this hotel in the lift if you are interested you can go with it.

Scan your room card before you can get into your room. I like room card more than key because can keep it into my wallet and it is safer.

Ta-da~

We booked a superior double bedroom in this Hotel

After opened up the door, you will see a queen size double bed and a dressing table on the left.

And on the right, we have a cupboard, two cabinets, a TV and our private bathroom.

They have ready 2 hangers for their guest to hang their clothes and towel. Besides that, if you wish to get laundry service, you can place your dirty clothes into the ready plastic bag and send to laundry.

You need to extra pay for the 3 in 1 drinks if you wish to take them, but you can enjoy the 2 mineral water on this cabinet for free.

Check out the mini-fridge.

Only two bottles of the beverage inside the fridge and it cost 20THB for each of them.

A mini cabinet in front of the TV, I can keep my travel bag at the bottom part to keep the room from messy and place belongings on top of it.
When is needed, we will pull this mini cabinet toward our bed and turn into a dining table. We can enjoy our meal while watching the TV.

Move over to the dressing table area.
The mirror is big enough for me and it is next to the window. I will prefer sunlight to done my makeup.

A list of rules and menu for their lovely guest.

Bathroom time!!!
A big basin and a hair dryer in front of the mirror.

Hair shampoo, shower gel, cotton bud and shower cap are ready for their guest.

They have the built-in type shower and you can control the temperature, volume of water by using only one shower valves.

Elongated toilet bowl

They are so sweet, they even prepared the sanitary bag for us. Girls will appreciate for it.

The last thing to show you all was the view from my room. I can see the Lee garden sky buffet, Centara Hotel and Odean from my room.

Location
(★ ★ ★ ★ ★)
The location was good! I can reach Odean within 3 minutes and reach Lee Garden in 5 minutes by walking. If you don't want to go to Odean you can go to Robinson Supermarket because it is just opposite this hotel. The only thing I feel sad was it did not have any 7-11 near to it but is ok.

Environment
(★ ★ ★ ★ ☆)
Nothing much to complain but the noise from the corridor is easy to be heard hope that the housekeeping starts their work after 9 am. The room was very clean and they do have the housekeeping service even you do not request for it, you can enjoy a "new" room after you back to the hotel from outside.

Room Features
(★ ★ ★ ★ ★)
Have no problem with the water pressure even at 11th floor and hot water was consistent. Besides that, the WIFI signal of this hotel was good, I don't have any disconnected experience with their WIFI and the speed is pretty fast (thumbs up for this).
Next, we have no panic with the air-con, we can control the room temperature as we like.
The bed was comfortable, which is not too hard or soft for us. After I finish bath, I can straight jump into the bed and enjoy the TV shows ( Is limited choices on Chinese show but I can watch youtube).
Another important thing I like to mention was this hotel do provide HAIR DRYER!!! Well, hair dryer is very very important to a girl with long hair (I don't want to wait up to 3 hours for my hair to dry during a trip).
Facilities
(★ ★ ★ ★ ☆)
If you decided to shop a lot then you better pick a hotel with elevator. Aloha has 2 elevators so no worry on carry luggage or your booty. Next, I hope that they will have a swimming pool on the rooftop of the hotel.

Service
(★ ★ ★ ★ ☆)
Basically, we have no communicate the problem with the receptionist, they able to speak in English and they are so nice and friendly.
They do have Massage service but we didn't try it because we need to pay for extra 300THB for the massage. I would rather go outside for the massage and it is much cheaper.
Price
(★ ★ ★ ★ ★)
The another reason for me to pick this hotel for stay was because the room price is reasonable. The room cost us RM110 per night(no breakfast include)!

Thanks for being here with me. I hope all of you have a happy weekday.

The Bed Hatyai Hotel @ Hatyai

Hi, Gorgeous!
I have completed my Hatyai Trip on last month with Mr.K. We want to do a lot of shopping, therefore we have decided to stay at Hatyai Center City. There are a lot of hotels at the Hatyai Center City area, so this took me a week to make a decision on which hotel to stay. After went through a lot of articles and reviews, we have decided to stay at this - The Bed Hatyai Hotel.

I booked this hotel through Agoda and done all the payment before we go to Hatyai.

The Bed Hatyai Hotel is a newly built hotel at 2013 in the city center of Hatyai. You no need to worry your meal because it is surrounded by Restaurant. Besides that, there is a 7-11 right beside this hotel and another one is located opposite the hotel.
10 minutes walking distance to the shopping area ( Lee Garden, Central Department Store Hatyai, Odean, Santisuk market, and Yongdee market ), 3 minutes walking distance to Kim Yong market.

We reached the hotel at 12 pm but the check-in time is 2 pm, so we left our luggage at the hotel and go for lunch. After finished our lunch, we go for a short shopping to kill time. Finally is 2 pm, we back to our hotel and proceed for check in. We are requested to pay RM100 to the hotel as a deposit, they will return to us when we check out from the hotel. The receptionist able to use basic English to communicate with us.

The lobby of this hotel is smaller when you compared it with other hotels. Once I entered into this hotel, all my stress have been released because of the green tea scent that surrounded in this hotel. I love the scent so much.

This hotel has prepared the happy sim for tourists, therefore, tourists can easily get it in this hotel. Besides that, Hatyai Center City map is provided by The Bed for tourists as well.

The theme of this hotel is about bedtime story, that is why there is a decoration book rack behind the counter.

Red Riding Hood
We can see a lot of illustrations everywhere in this hotel, all the illustrations are about fairy tales that we are well-known.

We got our room and it is on the ground floor. They are using warm yellow light as the room light.

A Snow White illustration above the king size bed. The room is quite big,  I able to walk around in the room after place our luggage. The bed is big, I guess is no problem for three adults.

There are a sofa and a mini table right in front the bed. We can just enjoy the TV show on the bed.

All the tv shows are listed on this card, there have over 50 channels(Korean, Chinese, English and so on) for their customers to choose which one to watch.

There is a small space which connected with the bathroom and toilet

This corner is for us to keep some food/snack and make some drinks. Furthermore, they had prepared two hangers, for us to hang our clothes.

They are so sweet, they have prepared some 3 in 1 drinks for us, and every room will have a hair dryer for their customer.

Let's see what is in this fridge? There are two bottles of mineral water in the fridge and it is free.

Basic toiletries are provided by the hotel, so we no need to bring ours.

The bathroom and toilet are connected and are spacious.

Environment (3/5)
Once I step into the hotel, I felt really comfortable because of the green tea scent, everything was fantastic until the next morning. The sound proof is bad, our room at the ground floor, it is near to the lounge and elevator so we heard a lot of noise in the morning around 6 am, it is hard for us to continue our sweet dream.
We requested to change our room to the higher floor and there is a room at the fifth floor, but that is a deluxe room so we need to pay for the room upgrade (another RM30). I was so excited because I got the little mermaid room!!! But the nightmare still has not ended, at the night time we can hear the noise from upstair, I guess the guest at upstair has children/s and their kid/s is running around in the room, the noise is finally stopped before midnight(Thank god).

Room Features (3.5/5)
Is hard for me to control the water temperature and the water pressure is low for the fifth floor's room. The internet of the hotel is not stable, it keep on disconnected from my device even the signal strength is strong, but the internet speed is considered fast if compare with Malaysia's internet speed.
I found few ants are walking around the bed(fifth floor's room), I just get them out from my bed.

Facilities(4.5/5)
There is an elevator in the hotel but is a bit small(able fit people and a 24' inch luggage). They are provided keep luggage storage service which is good for those guests that arrived earlier.

Sevice (5/5)
I love their stuff, they are so nice and helpful. They tried their best to explain with me in English about the direction to my destination. During the room changing, their female staff are helping us to carry our bag.
On our check our day, one of the female staff helped us to get a "tud tud" with a low price(300 ฿ ) and send us to the van terminal.

Price(3/5)
We are staying in the superior room for our first night and it is about RM161. The next day, we have upgraded our room to Deluxe room, we need to pay for extra  RM30 for the room upgrade. The room that we book is not included for breakfast.

Thanks for read my blog post and Have a nice day.

Hello Korea - Busan @ Fullguesthouse

Hi all, it's been a month I did not make any update on my blog and I hope you all does not forget about me. What I had done during the whole month? At the early September, I travel to Korea with Mr.K for 10 days and we planned the whoel trip by ourselves. We arrived Busan on the first day and stayed for 2 nights, then we are heading to Seoul...

So today I would like to recommend you all about the guesthouse that we stayed for 2 nights in Busan, in case next time you wish to visit Busan, South Korea and this might be helpful for you.

How I make the reservation to this guesthouse?
I contact them directly through email. For the contact information, please refer the end of this post.

Room Rate?
We are booked for a double room and the breakfast is included. Peak season was July and August.

Pick up service from the airport?
Yes! They provided the pickup service and it need extra charge for KRW30000/van.

What language are they speaking?
There are a Oppa, he able to speak in English, but he only be there starting from lunch time. However during at the morning time, the landlady of the guesthouse will be the person in charge, but she only able to speak some basic English.

This guesthouse was located at highest floor(8th floor) and glad that they have the elevators in the building else we have to carry our big and heavy luggage all the way up to the guesthouse. Inside the elevator, they are list out the floor details.

When the elevator's door opened, you will see a white multiple cell shoe's rack is in front of you. Koreans are care about the hygiene problem, so we have to change our shoes to the slippers that provided by them for every time come back to the guesthouse.

As you all can see, the floor and the wall are in wood. This is one of the reasons why I decided to stay at here. I love the cozy environment of this guesthouse.

There are a lot of postcards hang along the corridor  which are written by the guests of this guesthouse.

The room E will be the room that we going to stay for 2 nights.

We have our own private bathroom on the right-hand side after we entered the room. The bathroom is quite spacious and bright. There are 2 types of shower heads in the bathroom which are static shower head and hand shower head but I prefer to use hand shower head.

There is another thing impress me which are they provide conditioner in the bathroom!! To be honest, this is my time enjoy the conditioner provided by the guesthouse.

Ok, now is time for the room tour.
After get out from the bathroom, there is another door.

Actually, we make a reservation for a double room, but they give us the family room so it is much more bigger than what we expected.

This is a queen size bed right after the door.

And another double bed over the window corner. Besides that, they are provided a cupboard with hangers inside for their guest. Sometimes, you might need a hanger to keep your clothes from crease.

Dresser is very important for me during a trip because I need it for my daily makeup.

Fullguesthouse was so thoughtful, they prepared some basic tools which might be useful when you need them. They have a hair dryer, different kind of combs, portable mirror, toner, and moisturizer.

There is a desktop PC and a fridge beside the dressing table. Each of the room will have their own router, and the internet speed was super duper fast.

If you visit Korea during the winter, a heater will be a must have at the night time.

Oh ya! There are some rules in this guesthouse, remember to read it when you get into the room. Have you all realize that all the instructions are in 3 different kinds of language which are Korean, Chinese and English.

Since the breakfast is included so we are not going to miss it. The breakfast time was started from 8 am until 10 am.  If you have used any of the cooking tool and the dishes in the kitchen, you have to wash it by your own. Remember to keep the kitchen clean(this is a shared kitchen).

Actually at the 7.30am, the landlady is started to prepare the breakfast for us.

The landlady were so lovely, she will ask each of us do we want some egg? Then she will start to cook for us.

All of these are free to eat and use.

This is the fried egg that cooked by the sweet Unnie and this is awesome!! Besides that, you must try the "Gimbap" that prepared by Unnie else you will regret, we just can't stop the refill.

The another thing I love about this guesthouse which is you able to enjoy the Busan view while you enjoying your breakfast, what a great day.

Time fly, is time to say goodbye to Unnie and I don't forget to selfie before we left.

One more photo with Unnie, I wish to stay longer at here. Bye~ Unnie.
